The Challenge
As part of an initiative to strengthen internal security measures and improve their investigative capabilities to better support customers and find bad actors, Coinbase has developed a new internal tool that integrates multiple investigative tools into a unified platform that allows agents to conduct investigations in a safe, secure and more streamlined way.
Approach
By analyzing the internal product ecosystem and user journeys of the many agents conducting investigations, I was able to establish some core design principles and frameworks for designing and consulting developers on creating a platform that could scale to meet needs of the wide range of users, while continually collecting user feedback to learn how our team could improve the product experience.
