The Nehemiah Project

Telling a non-profit’s brand story to increase community support and engagement

Project Overview

The Nehemiah Project is a non profit that assists low income families with housing repairs and services. As the business was looking to expand its outreach, they encountered a problem: no one understood what exactly they did. Their website did not properly communicate their impact or value, resulting in low community engagement, donations, and partnership opportunities.

I worked with the founder to understand the core values of their brand, the story they wanted to tell and the audience they were looking to reach. Using their existing brand visuals, we crafted a new website that conveyed their brand and communicated the value and impact they bring to the community.

The result was a 25% increase in subscribers, 23% increase in donations and increased brand recognition in professional settings.
